PhotoPad introduced a mobile version for the Android operating system in 2014. In December of 2013 PhotoPad released a paid version for Windows and Mac platforms in addition to maintaining the free versions. PhotoPad was originally released as a freeware product in January of 2012 for both Windows and Mac platforms. PhotoPad joins a list of audio and video “Pad” products such as VideoPad, WavePad and MixPad. PhotoPad’s name is a common product naming scheme used by NCH Software.
